A Jewish activist has rallied thousands of virtual troops to go after the Jew-haters and terrorist-sympathizers of Facebook – with great success. Enough was enough. The Facebook groups praising the murderer of the eight yeshiva boys at Jerusalem’s Mercaz Harav last month was the last straw for David Appletree on the social networking web site. (more…)

Dental DVDs at Center of Toothy Lawsuit
Ordinarily, lawyers like to talk about lawsuits having teeth. A recent copyright case filed in Virginia federal court, however, seems to actually be about them. The dispute centers on millions of dollars’ worth of continuing dental education DVDs marketed by Spear Education.
William Cooksey Jr., a retired travel agent from Fairfax, Va., filed suit on Nov. 10 against the company’s founder, Frank Spear, claiming that the dentist-turned entrepreneur had violated his copyrights by selling the DVDs without his permission.The complaint is a bit light on details, but in an interview Cooksey’s lawyer, Vincent Amberly of Fairfax, explained his client’s version of the situation. According to Amberly, Cooksey and Spear began working together several years ago to arrange large dental conferences. In 2004, Cooksey began producing, compiling and editing DVDs to use at the events. The last of them was completed in 2008. more
