Senior Dental Leaders (SDL) Programme

The development of dental leaders who can promote organisational change in each country is critical to achieving the Global Taskforce’s aims. These leaders will spearhead the drive to improve child oral health. To this end, the Global Taskforce has established an annual SDL Programme which will provide National Taskforce representatives with strategic leadership and management skills and also an opportunity to build ongoing working relationships across the Global Taskforce network.The second Senior Dental Leaders programme was held in March 2008 and was a great success. The focus was Deans of Dental Schools and we welcomed 12 Deans from 9 countries to London.
