The recommended routine six-monthly visit to the dentist has been scrapped by health experts in favour of intervals of up to two years.
The new health guidelines come amid a crisis over dentist shortages in Britain.
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), who published the report, recommends that for under 18s the interval should be between three and 12 months, while for adults the interval should be between three and 24 months. (more…)
